This laughterinoddplaces thing has been going for about two and a half years now, in this time we've done gigs in launderettes, charity shops, heaths, living rooms, libraries, churches, record shops and cafes.

We've won an award and got some five star reviews and had many, many comedians through the many, many different type of door.

It's all gone rather well really. So it feels like the perfect time to kill it off.

Yes, it's over. For the third year we are announcing our Museum of London mini-festival-extravaganza thing and this will be the last laughterinoddplaces gig until we get paid a lot of money to reform for a one-off gig at the o2 in about ten years. And my, we're going out with a helluva ding dong.

In 2007 the comedy-festival-in-a-museum attracted about 400 people, last year it garnered 800, this year we want to reach a staggering 801+ people, maybe even a million.

On Thursday 2nd July, the Museum will see the likes of the quite bloody fantastic Richard Herring, the legendary Simon Munnery, the delightful Josie Long, the fantastic Will Adamsdale doing a special thing. The utterly fucking wonderful Ben Moor will be doing a full show. Terry Saunders will be telling a yarn and showing some animations of alternative (or real) London History. The poetic marathon running screen wipe appearing Tim Key, the rising star of Sara Pascoe and the music and whimsy of Gavin Osborn.

But, like a late night shopping channel advert for a food slicer, there's more! This brilliant line up isn't even all of it. There's more to be announced throughout the month.

You want to come? Of course you do, this is the death of laughterinoddplaces, the whimsical equivalent to JFK, Elvis or Hitler.

And don't forget... IT'S ALL FREE.

It starts at 7pm, so get there for 6:30pm and have a nice drinky and a look round, and maybe buy a leather tasselled bookmark from the shop.

It's non-ticketed and we allowing as many people as we're allowed to fit in (which is officially loads) but just so we can have some kind of idea of how many of you are coming can you please please mark yourself as attending on the facebook event, or on this eventbrite site thing.

Tell your friends, tell your enemies, get them all to come and laugh near some old things.
